Motorola Droid X surely created waves in the android market as the Smartphone was a hug hit among the audience. Come August and all the droid users would be enabled for an additional update to the android 2.2 Operating system. However, just as this was about to launch, Motorola announced that they are now coming up with Droid 2 pre installed with the highly awaited next-gen Android mobile operating system 2.2 Froyo.

Also, the new update of the operating system is expected to have various improvements over 2.1 and would have some features like a significant bump speed, Adobe flash player 10.1 and also the best feature is that it has the ability to install all applications on the SD card.

Images had already leaked on the Engadget site quite some time ago. However, still we have no official statement coming up either from Verizon or Motorola itself whether the Motorola Droid 2 would come along with a pre installed Froyo or not, but going by the companies advancement in the world of technology we are sure to receive some great news in the coming time and since August is not really far away some updates should come up in a week or so.
