The First lady of France, Carla Bruni Sarkozy is making her acting debut with Woody Allen in a movie which is being shot in Paris. She was greeted by the Director on the set of Midnight in Paris, which is a romantic comedy. Later the shooting took place is a grocery shop on the central fifth arrondisement.

Carla Bruni Sarkozy is 42, and she was watched by her husband, the French President, Nicolas Sarkozy. The president was surrounded by his body guards as he saw his wife act with Own Wilson and other film stars. The romantic comedy starts Kathy Bates, Marion Cotillard and Rachael Mc Adams besides the French first lady.

All the roads to the shooting site were cordoned as the crowds collected to watch the shooting. The shooting of the movie started at the beginning of the month. This movie by Woody Allen is about a young couple who are engaged and their life gets disrupted after they visit Paris.

Carla Bruni Sarkozy spoke about her role in the movie last year and said that she was sure it will be a great experience and thus was looking forward to it. She said that she was very excited to do a Woody Allen film and said will be proud of it when she would be a grandmother.
