Bun Kenny, the Cambodian number one player in tennis was in a health care in a provincial hospital near Bangkok after his loss Kasa Sharma, the Indian in the second round of the Asina Circuit men’s futures last Sunday. He got loss followed by 7-6 and 6-1.

Bun Kenny was staying in hospital for four hours and given treatment. He was feeling a little weak but he was alright then, said by the national coach Braen Aneiros. He added that Bun Kenny would undertake the extensive health test in hospital in order to examine and verify his exact illness after they returned Phnom Penh last Monday night.

In the match, Bun Kenny was the hopeful of Cambodia’s Asian Games. He was supposed to beat his Indian partner in the first set of contest, but the Indian had beaten him at the second stage.

Yet, in the first round, Bun Kenny played better than his China partner, Jia Lee, for 6-4 and 6-1. However, even Bun Kenny’s health is a little weak due to illness, but we hope he will recover soon for going on to be the hopeful of Cambodian tennis player and can defeat his opponents in the next match.
