She plays multiple roles that of an actor, singer, songwriter, record producer, dancer, fashion designer, television producer, model, choreographer and lastly an entrepreneur. It is also worth noticing that she is a part owner of Miami Dolphins. J.Lo as she is called by her friends and admirers is the richest person of the Latin American descent. This ranking is backed by the Forbes magazine. She has also been listed in the ‘100 Most Influential Hispanics’ by the People en Espanol’s list.

However, dancing was her first passion. She started out as a dancer and then later in 1995 she got recognition as an actress from the movie Money Train. She has released many albums of her own and has sold more than 25 million copies of these albums worldwide. She debuted with the album ‘On the 6’ in 1999. Later on, in 2003 she won the American Music Award for the Favorite Pop/Rock Star Female. And in 2007 she also bagged the ‘American Music Award for Favorite Latin Artist.’

At the age of 19, J.Lo financed here on dancing classes and after months of struggles and trips to the audition studios she bagged a backup dancer role for the ‘Yo! MTV Raps.’ After that she put in so much of effort that she was also selected as the back up dancer for Janet Jackson.

Along with films she has also covered the television industry with her charms. She has n number of films and TV shows listed in her profile. She is considered to gain additional commercial success because of her performance in ‘Shall We Dance?’

Also in 2007 she was the celebrity mentor in the American hit series ‘American Idol.’ After this she also went ahead and produced many reality shows, one of them being the ‘DanceLife.’ She has also launched her own fashion line which reflects her persona in the true sense of the word. She has also launched clothing line for the juniors and has labeled it SweetFace. Many New York Fashion Weeks have displayed her clothing lines.

Well she has been in lots of controversies for her excessive use of animal fur in all her clothing’s as well as apparels. The PETA organization had held a demonstration against her.

It also seems that none of the product launches, especially the perfumes and the jewelry lines is complete without her presence. She is also the ambassador of many brands and commercials.

Her personal life is the one which has always been the talks of the media. She has been dating a long list of people, Ojani Noa, Sean Combs, Cris Judd, and Ben Affleck and then settles in to marry Marc Anthony, her present husband.

However, she was married to Ojani Noa earlier in 1997 who was a waiter in a hotel in Miami. She got divorced the following year and also had issues because of which she had to approach the court and at the end there was a confidential agreement on terms which were not leaked out to the media at all. This relationship had been the talk because they spent more time fighting for various reasons in the court while their marriage lasted only for 11 months!

Her marriage to Anthony is the third one after she divorced her second husband Ben Affleck.
