Police commissioner’s officers of Phnom Penh made the press conference by showing off a group of criminals in trading illegal drug in 7 Makara district last 17 August 2010 at 3.30pm. Those criminals had 4 members include 2 females and the rest were males.

“The illegal drugs they produced had 49 categories, a scale for measuring drugs, the equipments for producing drugs, 2 big packages and 3 small packages of ice drug as well as the tools to commit drug” stated by Mr. Sok Khemaren, the sub-commissioner officer of Phnom Penh municipal and being a president against the violation of law.

According to addition of Mr. Sok Khemaren stated that the leader of these criminals already made the drug once they were arrested and the cost of those drugs was $10,000. He continued “Before we could arrest them, we had already investigated and searched for half month. Hence, I want to announce to all Cambodian youths please do not touch or take drug since it can effect badly to your health and it is the illegal action and unacceptable in society”

However, the extra information also showed on last Sunday, August 15, 2010. The police officers at 7 Makara district went to check up the house where address at # 15Eo St.248, Sangkat Vel Vung, 7 Makara district and found the illegal drugs there at 2.30pm. This cooperation was led by Mr. Chea Sok, the sub-inspector of police commissioner at 7 Makara district under the control of Mr. Touch Narot, the commissioner officer of Phnom Penh municiple.

This accomplishment of the mission, they confiscated the tools and substances for producing illegal drugs, half kilogram of drug, also arrested a man who was the owner of the house, Mr. Po Net, the brother of Mr. Po De Yan whose position was a police officer municipal. Meanwhile, the 2 women were also arrested for taking part in this illegal drug activity.
