A Deeper Look in the Life of Selena Gomez

The American pop star and actress born in Texas on the 22nd July 1992 has proved a lot in this young age of 18 years. She has been into the film fraternity since the age of seven when she debuted in the kids play ‘Barney and Friends’ by portraying the role of Gianna. After that she had depicted roles on the Disney Channel Wizards of Waverly Place. In the year 2008 she then went on to sing the sound tracks of the same Disney show and was certified Gold by the Record Institution of America. Her role in the Disney channel also admired her by an award.

Later in 2008 she further acted in many of the depictions, ‘Another Cinderella Story’ to name one. She touched glory when she was listed by the Forbes in their listing of ‘Eight Hot Kid Stars to Watch.’ She was further said to be a multi talented kid by the magazine.

Later on she also got a chance to appear in the Disney movie, Princess Protection Program and her co star was her best friend Demi Lovato. After this movie she also acted in the movie of Wizards of Waverly Prince. In October 2009 reports had been confirmed that she would be the actress in the ‘What Boys Want’ movie. She uses facebook a lot and has also confirmed that she would be the top three leads in the Monte Carlo as well.

The pop star gained success in this field after recording the “Cruella de Vil’ for Disney mania6. She later went to sing three tracks of the movie ‘Another Cinderella story.’ After these initial successes she has been approached by many and has also done several sound tracks for various albums and movies (some of which she has even acted.)

The famous ‘Kiss & Tell’ song was from Gomez’s band titles Selena Gomez and the Scene in which Selena is the lead singer, Ethan Roberts plays the Guitar, while Joey Clement is on the bass, Greg Harman on drums and the keyboard is handled by Dane Forrest.

She has also achieved political enlightenment and has also addressed and encouraged voting during the Presidential elections. She has also been involved with lots of charity and promotion of brands and commercials. She has also been part of a RAISE hope for Congo charity which helps in spreading awareness regarding the violence against Congolese women.

She is also planning to launch her own fashion line labeled “Dream Out Loud by Selena Gomez.’ She has been planning to put the eco fabrics in use and creating a fashion line that would be unique, customer friendly and also with a pretty feminine and bohemian touch of her own personal style.

Her personal life revolves around her five rescue dogs as she is a huge lover of animals. Also she has been wearing a purity ring since the age of twelve. She is friends with her co star Demi Lovato and usually sticks to her own bunch of friends.
