Four suspects have been charged with providing and creating illegal drugs at Phnom Penh Municipal Court. These four included two females and the rest were males.

Polices at 7 Makara district confiscated around 200 grams of crystal methamphetamine, 49 packets of chemical drugs and the other materials for drug creation. They confessed they involved in drug trafficking and using for several years. “These four suspects will be charged in jail after four days of questioning”, said by the prosecutor, Ek Chheng Huot .

He added that one of these perpetrators was taken to prison in Prey Sor waiting for additional investigations. “I agree to the charge of these suspects and it means that our police measures are effective, useful and worth”, said by Phnom Penh deputy police chief Sok Khmearin. “They were prosecuted because we have enough evidences at the place we broke in to”, he added.

However, one of the men who was arrested rejected that he did not involve in drug issue. “I do not know anything how these drugs are in my house. I do not produce or interfere in drug trafficking”.
