Mrs. Carol Rodley said since American embassy opened almost 18 years in Cambodia, the embassy has helped many Cambodian students to study in America through Fulbright and Hubert Humphrey program which is mainly focusing on Knowledge in Education. According to this, that is why there are 7 smart university students who study so hard and also speak well in English language have an opportunity to study and research in the US and they will be leaving Cambodia in June 27th, 2009.

US ambassador also added America will triple the numbers of Cambodian Students in 2009 so that all the smart people have a chance to study and research in many US universities as well as compete with American students and others coming from around the world.

Secretary of Educational Ministry also said, those students were so lucky to get a scholarship to study in abroad especially USA. He also told all Cambodian students to study hard and suck all the knowledge in order to help develop their own country when they return. Not only study and compete so hard with other students around the world but they shouldn’t forget their own culture because when they come to America they will discover multi-cultures which sometimes would make them forget their own Nation, added by Pit Chamnan.
