At least four people were thrown by acid from a stranger man at 11.45am on August 18, 2010 included two female garment workers who worked at Tech Garment Factory where located in front of International Pochentong Airport, and the other two were sellers.

According to witness who was victim’s friend stated “These four victims name 1) Keo Savon, female, 22 year-old, a garment worker whose hometown in Tropaing Trav Village, Srok Kompong Ro, Svay Reang Province. 2) Heng Sokheang, female, 20 year-old, a victim’s pal and stays in the same house”. Whereas the other two sufferers were unidentified but we just knew they were sellers in front of airport.

A friend who went to visit these victims in hospital revealed the cause of the accident because of a stranger who faked as a male factory worker. He walked toward to Keo Savorn and threw acid to her while she was buying sugarcane juice. Later, he escaped and left only doubts to everyone around. Only Keo Savon got danger seriously among those victims and now is staying for treatment at Calmette Hospital. However, the police officers are working hard to arrest him.

Finally, the last report showed that the cause of this accident because the committer was jealous Keo Savon by having colonel loved her. This led him to be rancorous and caused the tragedy in society.
